The Dad’s Dogs Story

Born and raised in Medford, animals have always been a large part of who I am. Throughout my life, my late father and retired state police officer, Bob Jones, always kept Samoyeds and fostered my love and understanding of dogs. He taught me what it means to be a caring, respectful, and responsible dog owner. This love and understanding was only strengthened when I rescued my own dog, Henry. I remember walking with my dad and our dogs around the Mystic lakes, enjoying each other’s company. I realized my desire to pursue animal care as my career so I returned to school and established my own dog walking business, named in honor of my dad. I have over 8 years of experience in dog walking and am certified in pet CPR. I have attended numerous dog training and behavior classes and I always strive to provide the highest quality care and anticipate the needs of my clients and their furry family members. You can take comfort knowing your animals are well cared for and loved like family while you’re away.

Henry’s Story

My Henry came to me at the perfect time in my life. Following a car accident in 2009 I was unable to walk for six months. Henry and I crossed paths when I was looking for a dog to foster during my recovery. Henry was in a neglectful situation in a city outside of  Mexico, and I was eager to rehabilitate him while I lived  in San Diego. He gave back to me 1000 times what I gave to him. He helped me move my body everyday during our walks making me, and our bond stronger. He got along wonderfully with my two cats, Ernie and Buddy, so he found his forever home! After moving back to Massachusetts, my dad and his dog Blizzard instantly fell in love with Henry. This gave me more time to spend with My dad and Blizzard, creating memories together that I will forever cherish.
